Happy Full Moon!
In last weeks newsletter I mentioned that I would be shifting the Sacred Journey’s newsletter schedule to Sunday’s. This shift feels amazing to me, and I hope it feels wonderful and welcome for you too!.
I am so excited to share this weeks message (and video) with you . . . more about my favorite sacred practice: Smudging! Yay!
The burning of Frankincese and Myrrh is something I was introduced to as a child, growing up in the Catholic church. I just loved it. I loved watching the priest as he swung the burner and the smoke floated out filling the space. I just loved the way it smelled! I know, not the typical child response to incense, but that was mine.
As an adult, I was reintroduced to the practice of burning resins while traveling in Peru. The shaman would burn resins throughout our ceremonies. It was glorious. I just knew this was a practice I wanted to become a natural part of my life.
In this weeks video I share what you will need and how to burn resins such as Frankincense and Myrrh.
Wishing you a beautiful week!
