Fall is a wonderful season to connect with Your Adventurous and Pioneering Spirit.
A friend recently said to me ‘Lori, you’re a pioneer.’
I wasn’t sure what she meant at first. I immediately assumed she was referring to my traveler spirit and forest adventures.
But that is not what she meant. Instead she was referring to my willingness to pioneer new ideas and blaze new trails, in all areas of my life . . . especially in the areas of spirituality and soulful exploration of self.
This conversation touched my heart deeply. And it got my creative juices flowing.
I just love that word ‘pioneer’ and long admired that quality in others.
I started thinking about what it means to blaze a trail of inner exploration . . . for myself and how much of my work is about supporting others to do this as well.
Maps immediately came to mind . . . not the kind we use to navigate the physical world, but rather the map we use to navigate the unseen world, our inner world.
I pulled out my markers and created an inner journey roadmap.
At the center was a heart, the treasure (intuition, self knowing and trust, inner wisdom, soulful connection, and more).
I’ve always loved maps and I treasure opportunities to get off the beaten path, to explore the places and spaces few others go.
The soul and inner world is one of those places few people explore.
Few people ever consider taking a journey within. Even fewer find the courage to even open the door.
I know you are here because you too are a courageous explorer ready to bring more joy and creativity into your inner exploration.
Let’s be real, inner exploration and the healing journey in general can be exhausting, especially after the past couple years of ongoing deep dives. There definitely is a time for indulging the grit of this path. And there is also a time to add in a bit of creativity, play, lightness.
